Q. How much will I expect to pay for a cake?

All of our cakes are designed to suit your personal style and requirements so the price is always different. Please contact us for a quote.

Q. What cake fillings and flavours do Claire Louise Cakes offer?

We provide the following flavours - chocolate biscuit cake, rocky road, chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream, vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam, chocolate orange with chocolate buttercream, banana with a vanilla frosting, banoffee flavour, lemon with lemon buttercream, carrot with cinnamon frosting, lemon with lime buttercream, black forest gateaux, amaretto with almond buttercream, malted chocolate, after eight chocolate sponge with peppermint frosting, Irish coffee with whiskey buttercream and fruit cake. Should you have any dietary requirements, please discuss and we would be more than happy to cater for your needs.

Q. How do I order a cake?

Please fill out the cake order form on the website. Payment for cakes will require a non refundable deposit in order to secure the date and provide the ingredients and the remainder can be paid on collection/delivery of the cake/s. Deposits for wedding cakes is €100 and for all other cakes is €30.

Q. How do I care for my cake?

Do not put your cake in a refrigerator! Once you receive your cake, you can store it in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight. You can refrigerate or freeze them once they have been cut into in order to preserve them.

Q. Do you deliver?

We can deliver cakes for a small fee. Wedding cakes are delivered, however a delivery and set up charge will occur dependant of venue locality. Pick up is from Lucan, West Dublin.

Q. What size cake do you recommend?

The size of the cake is dependant on the number of guests you need to cater for. See the table below for more information.
